Description
Seattle's famous Market Theater Gum Wall attracts vistors/contributors from around the world. The iconic gum wall in Post Alley, at the world-famous Pike Place Market, is covered in sugary rainbow hues. The initial deposits began in 1993, with the some budding artists creating intricate displays. In November of 2015 the walls were steam cleaned--in the name of preservation--to protect the bricks from the corrosive sugar content. Over 2,300 pounds of gum was removed from the walls of Post Alley. Once cleaning was completed on November 13 gum started reappearing.
Hang a memory of Seattle on a wall in your home or office. The perfect wall art for those who love the Emerald City!
