Description
Shannon Falls plunges a dramatic 335 meters en route to Howe Sound. Shannon Falls Provincial Park is a popular stop for those traveling the Sea-to-Sky Corridor (BC Highway 99) from Vancouver to Whistler, British Columbia. The falls viewpoint is a short, accessible walk from the parking area. Only 135 meters of the falls is visible from the base viewing area. Old growth forest frames the cool blue waters tumbling down the granite escarpment from Mount Habrich and Mount Sky Pilot.
I digitally enhanced the color in the trees to accentuate the feel of a crisp autumn day.
