Artist's Description
LA's iconic big donut, instantly recognizable as a backdrop in movies and television, stands atop Randy's Donut in Inglewood, CA. Just a few minutes north of LAX, alongside the 405, locals and tourists flock to this piece of Roadside Americana for a fresh, hot donut. Randy's opened in 1953, originally one of 10 stores in Russell Wendell's Big Donut Drive-In chain--only four of big donuts remain. Randy's big donut stands is arguably the most famous.
