The old Gruene, TX, water tower stands watch over historic Gruene Hall. The world-famous music venue claims to be the "oldest continually operated community dance hall" in the Lone Star State. Set in the Gruene Historic District, Heinrich Gruene opened the legendary music venue in 1878. Little has changed outside or inside the Texas landmark.
