Description
This print is among my personal favorites--a large, 40" canvas print (framed with - Vintage Collection - Copper frame VN4) hangs above the fireplace in my den.
Other-worldly, dystopian, and mesmerizing are but a few words to describe Yellowstone's Mammoth Hot Springs. The Upper Terrace contains some of the most iconic features of the hot springs. Canary Springs is arguably Mammoth’s most visually stunning feature. The iconic, east-facing, terraced pools of Canary Spring take on the hues of the day. The scene is a visual feast to behold anytime of day.
I find Canary Springs mesmerizing, with new compositional options present with each visit. I particularly like the trees claimed by the springs. The remains of the foreground pine tree offer a unique contrast the to vibrant, evolving springs in the background.
Yellowstone National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
