Cucumber Falls is among the Keystone State's most dramatic and beautiful falls. Located in Ohiopyle State Park, Cucumber Falls plunges 30 feet as Cucumber Run feeds into the Youghiogheny River--aka the "Yawk." The falls are easy to reach, with parking along Kentuck Road and a short walk to the crest of the falls.

Stephen Stookey, Ph.D., is a university dean/church history professor/ordained minister by day and photographer by night. Well, not just nighttime; you get the picture. His love for photography began with a Kodak Instamatic 104 and a handful of GE flash cubes.
