A North End institution, the Modern Pastry Shop is a must visit when in Boston. Cookies, cakes, cannoli--take your pick you cannot go wrong. My stomach draws me inside; my eye is drawn to the vintage neon sign. This slice of Boston culture is the perfect for those who love the city and its diverse neighborhoods.

I like the textured, monochrome look of this image allowing the eye to focus on the architecture nuance of the sign and storefront.
