Description
Olympic National Park's Sol Duc Falls drops 50 feet into a slot canyon. Three narrow channels funnel the waters of the Sol Duc River to the canyon bottom. It is a beautiful sight as the waters make their way to the Pacific Ocean.
The falls are an easy hike from Sol Duc Hot Springs Lodge and the nearby campground. A viewing deck at the falls brink offers visitors a unique visual perspective. This image was captured just upstream from the viewing deck.
Olympic National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
