Nineteenth century cartographer T. M. Fowler traveled the United States and Canada producing hand drawn, panoramic maps. The majority of his work recorded locations in Pennsylvania. He spent time traveling Texas in the early 1890s charting the growth of Texas cities.
This map captured Seymour, Texas, 1890, highlights the business growth and prosperity in the Baylor County seat. Fowler's map, in addition to chronicling the town, served as a promotional piece to entice potential residents to settle in Seymour. The unique insets on this Fowler map highlight the new business growth in Seymour.
This map, drawn by T. M. Fowler, is the perfect addition to a home or business proud of its Texas heritage.
