Description
The beauty of the Yellowstone River cutting through the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is evident every single day. Lower Falls and the canyon take on an etherial, frozen quality in the winter months. Water surges over the falls, creating an ice bridge at the base of the falls. Snow clings to the canyon walls and coats the pines. It is a magical sight! A winter trip to Yellowstone National Park should be on every nature lover's bucket list.
Yellowstone National Park, the granddaddy of National Parks, is the Unites State's oldest and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
